Hello, everyone! My name is Ki. Have been in a polyamorous relationship for almost four years now, yet very inactively have been parts of any "poly community". My girlfriend is married and I live with them both.
I look forward to getting to talk about this part of my life with more people who understand, and hearing your experiences/helping how I can.

Hello~!
Nice to meet you all! I was really glad to see the post about this forum on tumblr (I'm SeoulCityCandleLight there too, by the way) and wanted to join and learn from you more experienced folk. I'm poly by nature but currently in a non-monogamous long term relationship but we are just starting out. I've read most of the popular books on polyamory and feel like I know a bit about the subject despite not having a lot of experience. I also study sexuality as a hobby and have a dream of becoming a sex educator in the future.
Anyway, I hope we can get more members here and get some good discussions going.

Hi everyone!
I'm still working on what to refer to myself as online, but I'm on tumblr as developmentofmyself (which I generally abbreviate to devomy). I'm 23 and self-identify as an 'it's-complicated' type of bisexual and of course polyamorous (though I'm functionally monogamous at the moment). I've also been exploring the notion behind gender fluidity, though I don't know enough yet to firmly decide if I fit in that category.
I'm definitely excited to be a part of this and to get to know everyone. I love learning about others, as well as about sexuality and relationships in general.

Hello everyone! I'm male, heterosexual. Here's my blog, which is partly focused on my hobby of designing and building motorcycles, and partly focused on what I find beautiful (mostly quality handcrafted items and the human form). I'm new to poly, so here's a bit of my background and what introduced me to this lifestyle: Through introspection and communication, my wife and I recently had a sort of paradigm shift in some of our core beliefs. We were both raised christian, but as a logical thinker, and a trained and educated scientist, I could not resolve certain factual knowledge about the earth and universe with what I was raised to religiously believe. After years of struggling with this issue, I finally brought the issue to my wife's attention, and we talked over many subjects having to do with what we were going to carry forward, what we no longer believed, and how we wanted to live our lives and express love. Part of what prompted us to examine what we believed about love and relationships, was the fact that i was having strong feelings for another woman I had met on a trip to NM/CO. My wife and I weren't having relationship problems at all, in fact, our relationship was the best it had ever been, due mostly to our continued dedication to cooperation and communication. I also was not lacking any love toward or from my wife. We are both very sexual people, and have a very active sex life. However, I still found myself having strong feelings toward another woman, and I didn't know why. I spoke with my wife about it, and although she had a lot of fears about what that meant, she began to realize that it might not be a bad thing, and she could not come up with a good reason why it should be bad. It had always been natural for her to assume the worst, and think about the worst outcome of any situation. Through many weeks of talking through the idea of loving more than one person romantically, and the potential issues, she realized that all her reservations about it were due to her constant tendency to assume the worst outcome. The other woman was open to the idea of a polyamorous relationship, but she lived several hours away from us, so she recently visited for a little over a week. During this time, my wife was able to learn a bit about herself, her interaction with other women and her attraction to other women, and I was able to learn more about my wife and about the other woman. Near the end of her time staying with us, we began having threesomes, which was an amazing experience to learn about my wife in a new way, and see her interact with another woman. It made me feel even closer to her than I had before. I don't know how far our relationship with this other woman will develop, but it has started us on a path into a more love-centric and polyamorous life.

Hello, I'm in an interesting spot as I have accidentally started living a poly life. It's a pretty long story and really confusing for most people, so I have been looking for somewhere that I can have conversations about it with people who "get it".

Hi, I am George, 57 my wife is 47, we have a 9yr old child. I just do not accept the commonly held idea that a marriage should constiute "ownership" of your partners body, sexuality or emotions. I believe that the expectation that you should be someones only sexual partner, and fulfill all thier emotional/sexual needs forever and evermore is a ridiculous concept, and doomed to failure. The divorce rate in our society CLEARLY demonstrates just how much of a fallacy this concept is, am I am not willing to let the ridiculous dictates of my society threaten my childs, my wifes, or my happiness and sense of security.

Hello I'm Moniar, I'm 18 years old and i joined this community to learn about polyamory and make likeminded friends. I'm currently studying for college most of the time, but on my free time i make plans for the future, read books, play videogames, watch twitch streamers and youtubers and binge watch tv shows. I love philosophy and people. If anyone wants an extra friend to talk about polyamory or in general, here's my messenger code, just scan it 😉😊
